Remember, taste is subjective. We recommend using CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream in recipes at approximately 2%, and for single flavour recipes at 7%.

Be cautious, it's gorgeous!

First time I used this flavour I stupidly ignored the advice from Darkstar in their Details section and added 9% of VBIC to a recipe including Banana and MTS (I am always worrying I won't taste things so I tend to start high and reduce concentrations of flavours as I work on a recipe).

It created more of a caramel flavour but completely muted out the other flavours. SADNESS!

It was gorgeous, but not what was intended, way too sickly for an ADV and it also killed my wick in less than 24hrs. Recommend using this at no more than 3% because it is a lot stronger than you might anticipate! Works great in all dessert recipes and to improve custard or cream recipes.
